Fun Reading

Is there such a thing? When you have dyslexia, the answer is no!

However, manga has been a love of mine long before I was able to read!

My dyslexia really made reading hard for me, but with a good manga, I could sorta understand the story and I felt like I was "reading"!

Today, I reward myself when I've finished a big school or work project by getting a new manga.

Lately I've been buying manga written in Portuguese to help me learn the language. So, yeah, I guess maybe reading can be fun!

Body Doubling

Okay, real talk—body doubling saves me. I swear, I get 10x more done when someone’s just chilling "next" to me. There's just something about having a friend who is also working on their homework virtually that makes me feel less alone and more focused on my homework.

However, I don't think it counts when my cat, Louis, is my only body double, because he snores so loudly when he sleeps!
